Second opinions and assessment of previously treated teeth.
If you have been told a tooth cannot be saved, or you are unsure about a recommended treatment, we are happy to provide a second opinion. We explain all of your treatment options so you can make an informed decision about keeping your natural teeth.
We also evaluate previously treated teeth. If a tooth that has had root canal treatment develops new symptoms, or a routine X-ray shows that healing has not progressed as expected, an evaluation determines whether retreatment, surgery or another option gives your tooth the best long-term outlook.
Referring dentists are welcome to send patients for consultation on complex cases. After every evaluation we send a written report of our findings and recommendations to your dentist.
